Haunted Bookshop in the Grabow Lark for me this afternoon, which I rarely ever smoke since both Burley and Perique really disagree with my mouth chemistry and both give me a sore throat almost every time I smoke them, but I'll be darned if Haunted Bookshop isn't my all time favorite blend flavor wise so I still smoke it every now and then even though I know I probably shouldn't! Haunted Bookshop is just too good not to enjoy at least once in a blue moon! 😅

Now smoking and reviewing KBV Pork Chops and Apple Sauce 2024 in a medium bend smooth paneled 2017 Celebi Turkish Meerschaum with a tapered gold and black swirl acrylic stem. Ismail made this meer for me as a token of friendship. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Sleepy Suzy is by my side supervising my review.

My meers rest, until the cheap and filthy estates I bought from Goodwill arrive in the mail. So that I can clean them, and know if that's cake I'm scraping at, or if I'm destroying my pipes.
Meanwhile, a cob of Nat Sherman 314 (which I bought at a B&M a few years ago and finally decided to start on)
It’s probably cake. The meerschaum is harder than you think to scrape away unless it’s in a wet pipe that you just smoked.

I personally don’t scrape my meers down to the point that I would be nervous about scraping away the meer itself. I leave 1-2mm

I've passed the half way mark of this bowl of 1990s Edgeworth Ready Rubbed in a medium bend dark brown 2017 Don Warren 17 smooth straight grain rough top Dublin with a multi-brown cumberland stem and ferrule in the military mount style. Enjoyed a couple of great phone chats with friends.
