Passing the quarter mark of this bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Fed all the ferals. Rain and fog all day so no walks.

Sutliff 507-C on top of a pinch of Lane 1-Q in my basket Erica (Pete Second of XL Hand Made) with an aftermarket 9mm stem and filter. This was the 4th or 5th pipe I bought and it is still the finest smoking pipe I have ever smoked. It is, to my mind, a perfect pipe. The only other pipe I own that comes close to this one is the Barontini Gran Duc 203 straight grain. Interestingly, to me, both were probably made in the late 70's.
(The 2022 Pete Pub pipe is third in line.) Not the most expensive pipes but by far the best smokes. So far ! ;)

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am half way through this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star 50th, neat, is my drink. Watching Bat Masterson with Sleepy Suzy by my side. Tomato the Brave is snoozin' by my feet.

Took Mrs. Badger shopping tonight. Not one of my favourite leisure pursuits. We have an arrangement: I provide the transport, she gets out of the car and does the shopping. Had a very pleasant hour in the car listening to Jake Thackray and savouring some HH Old Dark Flake in an Avon Yorkist half bent acorn. Didn't take the phone with me so no pic. And there was an unforeseen downside to our arrangement tonight - she went and bought the wrong rum :-/
