Just finished a bowl of Sutliff Match Sunrise in a Peterson Rocky Donegal 69. Been smoking Peterson EMP on and off all day and wanted to do a comparison. Similar but with some differences. EMP is less sweet with more up front Orientals and a bit more noticeable Latakia.

So tonight I enjoyed some Union Square in an Old Port Bringham made pot. Then I decided to grab a little pinch each of my first ever home grown red, gold, bright, turkish tobaccos. I just crunched them all together and decided to try it out. I think this will be amazing after some time. 
About a third of a bowl left of year 2018 Mac Baren Acadian Perique in a straight smooth brown 1933-36 KBB Yello-Bole Honey Cured Briar 2384 Acorn with a tapered yellow rock ambra stem.

Wrapping up the night with a big ole bowl of Semois Reserve du Patron in another Hoskinson Handmade - this one is a partially rusticated XXL volcano. A great pipe for such a blend. If you know this baccy you'll probably know why. :P
Half way through this bowl of Wilke No. 72 in a pre-1974 dark brown straight Larus & Brother Co. Signature billiard with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem with the initials LCR on the top of the stem. This blend was smoked by Walter Cronkite. Just fed all the cats.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am smoking Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend. Time to catch up on the forums.

About a quarter left of this bowl of Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture in a smooth medium bend terracotta Peterson POY 2023 X160 464/1100 military mount egg with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Emptied the dishwasher, fed Sleepy Suzy, who is snoozin' by my side, Abner the Eager, who is snoozin' on top of my chair, Harry the Hairy, who is snoozin' by my feet, and Tomato the Brave, who is snoozin' on the couch. Everybody else is snoozin' elsewhere. I'll end the day with this smoke.
Starting with the first third of mb# virginia flake, in a new MM Cobbler. With a second black coffee with a few drops of brandy. We have a perfect day today to play golf, or tennis, or even barbecue, eat bacon, drink wine, and swim in the pool. But, I'm better at swimming in the grass.
