Enjoying ‘17 GLP Cairo in a Peterson Derry 106 and a mug of Earl Grey tea.
The is one of my favorite pipes. Seems to handle just about any cut or blend well. And I like the Army Mount for its looks, ruggedness and ease of cleaning.
This aged Cairo is excellent!

Passing the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2014 Astley’s No. 55 in a 1915-1920 straight smooth dark brown BBB Own Make 150 apple with a silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. This will get me to dinner time.

Happy holidays! My pipe smoking usually slows way down during the Alaskan winters but today it was sunny and maybe even above freezing for a few hours. I took advantage of the warm spell and took the dog out to smell squirrel tracks. She’s supposed to be a bird dog but is most interested in rabbits and squirrels. I enjoyed an old Kaywoodie pot filled with one of my cherry blends with a slice of cigar (A. Fuente) mixed in.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, haddock and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm almost a third of the way through this bowl of year 2014 FVF in a straight smooth dark brown 1896 W.H. Newman, Ltd. billiard with a sterling silver band and a tapered yellow and orange stem with white swirls and an orific bit. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.
