Earlier, I smoked a bowl of year 2014 Astley’s No. 55 in a 1915-1920 straight smooth dark brown BBB Own Make 150 apple with a silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem.

Last smoke of the day is Wilke Pickett’s Charge in a post-WW2 straight smooth brown pre-Republic Peterson’s Dublin 3 bulldog with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Just fed all the ferals, and both Abner the Eager and Harry the Hairy wanted to go out. I put Abner out the front door so Harry wouldn't chase him away. Reading while this bowl lasts.

Le pont des Arts! Chacom#4 is the best of their tobacco offering, with the #6 is you like aros and #5 is also a good english blend. Enjoy your stay in Paris!
This along with the Caporal Export are my very favorite among tabacs brun francaises, this St Claude has a bit of Virginias in it yet slightly topped with tonka has broader cut than Caporal. As a side note, all of these Tabac Gris*(/Dark shag cut) are done by Barens company and the quality has been up since they took over the production, now it remains to see what will happen to these traditional blends when STG takes over

Here's one of Sam the Scamp's scampers, Ringo, as he enjoys his life.

That Ringo is a handsome chap - I've never seen a male ginger tabby before: they're quite rare, I'm told. At least, here in UK.

I read that first as 'Cwmbargoed', and was surprised I never new they were growing tobacco in the South Wales valleys... :)
