Finishing up a smoke of '24 Cringle Flake in a bent Falcon with rusticated bulldog bowl. Pretty good this year. Glad they went with a straight VA.

Had a little C&D Engine 113 this afternoon. Didn't realize it was an aromatic, which is a shame cause the burley, virginia and dark fired would taste awesome on their own. Maybe there's something they make that's like this but without the topping.

Did a set of walking reps on this cold, cloudy day, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem. Abner the Eager was waiting at the back door when I opened it, so I brought him to eat, and he's been snoozin' since then.
After that, I enjoyed an off diet lunch that consisted of a giant plate of turkey (about two pounds) and brown rice with pine nuts. Desserts were nine mini chocolate eclairs and a Boston cream pie doughnut with unsalted peanuts and two golden delicious apples. More snacking may occur soon. Gold Star 50th, neat, is my drink. Great coffee!

Mom, who was a professional level trained cook who sometimes wrote food columns in the Vancouver Sun newspaper in the 50's told me many times I experimented too much with food. Eaten some stuff that'd rot your socks! Been chewing tobacco all my life to prevent her from knowing I also smoked! I'm used to it. If it was toxic, most of this forum would already be dead!- Excellent work, @gord. I read your post out to Mrs. Badger just now, and she was mightily impressed. She cautions, however, on the wisdom of ingesting too much raw tobacco leaf (however much that might be) by consulting with a nutritionist/herbalist...unless you already did?
Icelandic Hakaarl is on my bucket list . . . never had the opportunity lol!
