Pre-Christmas Christmas party for staff and volunteers at Acton Scott Heritage Farm this afternoon. Sat outside the barn (I'm the only one who smokes) listening to them singing carols inside while I ponder the Mystery of the Incarnation outside. A bowl of HH Old Dark Fired in the Futura with a mug of black coffee enlivened with a splash of Bailey's. Now still no nearer to understanding the Mystery of the Incarnation, but I understand the ODF a lot better. Wonderful smoke
Broke open a tin of Gawith Brown Sugar Flake.
When I haven't smoked this flake for a while and then light up a bowl, the flavor is just... full, exquisite, and fantastic.

After a brief hiatus, had a bowl of The Country Squire’s Sweet Burley in a Comoy’s Everyman pot. Maybe the best bowl I’ve ever had! Mind, I’ve only been smoking less than a year.
