Quite often I can be found sitting in my truck on a chilly December day smoking a cob in my driveway. This morning I’m heading into town to fill up the tank, so I’ve gotten all dressed up with a Castello loaded up with ‘18 FVF, just in case I’m spotted in the wild and accosted by an intrusive stranger….need to make a good impression.

Smoking some SG Kendal Cream Flake in a smallish Lattice Meerschaum carved by Muhsin as I work on finishing some reports. 
Haven’t smoked this for a week or so because I thought I was going to have to trade it away, but no! This was my first “artisan” pipe I got from Pulvers Prior Briar.

FYI, this takes a 9mm filter, it didn’t smoke that great without a filter till I got an adapter. I know some folks think adapters are optional, but in this case it fixed this pipe.

Almost the last of this tin of Kingfisher and I only have one left so it’ll probably stay on the shelf a good while longer. I’m having it in the 1921 Dunkan’s Zoie pipe that has the solid silver inner tube. If I were making pipes I might pinch this idea, it does provide a very cool and pleasant smoke 
I always thought my Ornsby pipe stems could double as lethal weapons if necessary, they were designed by a military chap as well which might explain it.You know I stay strapped

@HRPufnstuf Well done for making your new clay last the full film; the longest I've got is 54min with a clay pipe of St Bruno Ready Rubbed. Now I'm saving for sword fighting lessons I'm cutting down on beer & only buying pipeweed for clay pipe era re-enactment events (Sealed Knot, Pirate Mutiny, Redcoats & Revolutionaries) and the Vikings where jason the blacksmith lights my pipe with an ember from his forge! Do you think 20g of pipeweed will be enough for a 1 day event when I go to see the Sealed Knot?It's St. Nicholas' Day today, the patron saint of children. I lit two candles in the window (tradition) and had a pipe while I wrapped gifts for my nieces and nephew. Eccentric and coffee.

Then I cleaned up the debris and loaded my new clay with some Eccentric as well and watched "The Duel" on netflix, it's a decent western. Pipe lasted the whole film and smokes superclean.

Now I'm bumbling around in forums for a while with my little meer full of Paradoxical. Life is good, unless you're waiting on deliveries from Canada Post. If you are, you have my genuine sympathies.
