Oddly, I was charged an NC import tax on this pipe when I hadn’t been on recent, price compatible orders from same shop in Denmark. Anyone know how that BS works?

I belive $800 and above is subject to import tax. Whether they impose or not seems luck of the draw. Sorry to hear you got hit.
