A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2010 Amphora Original (Brown) in a full bend barley sandblast Peterson 125th Anniversary 1898-2023 No. 172/330 302 brandy military mount with a silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip saddle stem. Have enough left for a bowl or so. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. It's still raining hard, and my cats are in the bed room, so I let Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave in for a while. Daisy is snoozin' by my feet, and Tomato is laying next to me. My weekly pipe zoom starts at the top of the hour.

Thank you for welcoming me into the Brotherhood Clay King. I hope to keep the flame of the Clay lit.
@TN Jed Good to hear; me too! I'll have to save the Grousemoor Plug and get some fresh Gawith Hoggarth before the Battle of Nantwich re-enactment. I'm thinking of taking my churchwarden to Nantwich; need to make sure I don't break it...
I had a memorable clay pipe smoke with one of the Sealed Knot re-enactors in the Red Cow pub beer garden; he said he was going outside for a smoke so I gave him a smoke of my clay pipe with C&D Winchester. With the church bells ringing in the distance, smoking our clay pipes and drinking real ale out of a pewter tankard it felt like the pub had gone back in time:)
Definitely a memorable occasion!

@Tate Do you think it would suit the King's Clay? Hope you get a new one soon. Need to make sure I don't break any clays when I go to see the Sealed Knot next year. Still smoking GH Kendal Black Cherry in my vintage clays.
Definitely think it is worthy of the King's clay! A very fine blend! I think the wife is getting one for me for Christmas for a stocking stuffer! My Christmas haul is going to be nuts!

@Tate Need to make sure I don't smoke all my pipeweed before the Sealed Knot event:)
Do you think I'll puff through at least half a packet???
