1792 in a Dunhill 35, a slightly long-shanked billiard. I have what I think of as a companion piece, a 36, also a root/bowling ball from the same decade, same length, that is a slightly short-shanked Liverpool. Gotta love it.

Reminds me of a scene in an old W. C. Field's movie where he's a carnival barker standing beside two yokels of average height wearing long fake beards: "Ladies and Gentlemen! Allow me to present...the world's shortest giant! And his brother, the world's tallest midget!

Dobies 4 Square Matured Virginia fine cut from the 60's in the Musico Set Special pot.
I'm REALLY going to miss this tobacco when it's gone. I've got maybe one very small bowl left after this.

That’s the only trouble getting great old tins of tobacco, it hurts when you know you’re down the last bit and never know if you’ll ever get to see it again. I’d be chain smoking SG Bracken Flake if it was still being made and to the same standard but I have one tin left after this jar is done so I take as much pleasure from it as possible.

My first and only commission! Thanks! I love it. Musk ox is probably my favorite stem extension material.
It’s absolutely on my top list of one of a kind grail pipes. I remember your build on that one. Still amazes me with the attention to detail, grain, shape and stem work. It’s a Ferrari to say the least.
