thank you for posting this pipe and the name/details! Finally figured out what my father's neat little old billiard is... a Larus & Brother pipe. The L logo is on the stem, too. The "Signature" stamping is 95% nonexistent (looks like bottom of the 'e' is all that shows), but between your pipe, notes from reborn pipes and pipephil.eu... a Larus is most certainly what it is! My father's initials were lightly stamped on it too, but seems to have lifted away when heating the stem to straighten it up...Now smoking Wilke No. 72 in a pre-1974 dark brown straight Larus & Brother Co. Signature billiard with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem with the initials LCR on the top of the stem. This blend was smoked by Walter Cronkite. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

I’m right there with you brother..I loaded up a pipe of Briar Fox. I like it better than Cringle Flake. Not sure what that says about me, but it is true. Good night gents and ladies.
