C&D Eight State Burley, to smoke a bit of an Aro ghost out, in a 1901 Sam McLardy & Co. Meerschaum with vulcanite stem.

BUT, I really would rather have a stem in Cumberland or some fancy colors in Eldritch.
Are you familiar with Eldritch? My understanding it’s the same comfort as Ebonite/Vulcanite/Cumberland but doesn’t oxidize.
I forgot if you live close to George, but if you see him again, ask if he’d make more pipes with Cumberland, and to check out the colors of Eldritch.

About a third of a bowl left of year 2020 D&R Raccoon’s Delight in my very reliable smooth straight post-1938 pre-Republic Peterson Sterling Canadian 263 with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem.
Going to have Blatter Reserve in a Blatter & Blatter Lovat—Patrick Blatter, the pipemaker, referred to it as a Lovat when I selected it at the shop; it has no saddle bit stem; the shank is round, so it's not a Canadian, but, it was literally made in Canada. A Liverpool might be most accurate, but, again, I defer to its creator.
A quarter of the way through this bowl of Peretti Royal in a black sandblasted medium bend 2013 Mark Tinsky Coral 5 cherrywood with a smooth dark brown shank and bottom with a tapered black briar accented acrylic stem.

Enjoyed a tasty Jazz apple, and am almost half way through this bowl of Uhle’s Blend 71 in a 2018 smooth full bend Peterson Premiere 312 billiard with a silver cap military mount and a black vulcanite saddle stem with a p-lip. Just fed the ferals, too. I may end the day with this smoke.
