Smoked a bowl of year 2018 Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight, dark brown early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Just enjoyed a tasty Jazz apple.

Just passing the quarter mark on this bowl of D&R VIP in a 2004 smooth long shank Trever Talbot Ligne Bretagne Faite en Bretagne 4/3 lumberman with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Off to work I go.

Out drinking cause I can’t tomorrow. Loaded a little Newminster 400 in my Virginia cob for a quick hitter. Still figuring out virginias but this has been the best of them for me. Tried red virginias plain (CRF) and several Va/pers and they are great smokes but the 400 is very delightful.

Going to have Drucquer and Sons, Ltd. Levant Mixture in a Savinelli Punto Oro 2001 Apple/Billiard(?)—the four digit model number suggests it could be from the late ’50s–early ’70s.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am smoking Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2022 Mac Baren Burley London Blend in a smooth medium bend 2011 Rinaldo Collection Fiammata Silver Line 7 Odea 04 flame grain bulldog with a silver band and a tortoise shell acrylic saddle stem. I may end the day with this smoke.
