Reloaded my IMP with some 2017 Mac Baren Dark Twist. I've been smoking this stuff daily for a week or so and I'm really digging it - enough to where I'm thinking of buying a pound or two. Was wondering if @jiminks thinks Dark Twist and Newminster Superior Round Slices, which I haven't tried, are similar enough to where I might save a few bucks going that route. Didn't know if the maple sugar Mac Baren uses on the Dark Twist makes much of a distinct difference or not.

There are a fair amount of similarities between the two though the toppings are different. Newminster SRS has a higher alkaline content and requires some aging for best effect. You don't need to do that with Dark Twist, although it ages well, too.

Thanks for the reply on the Dark Twist @jiminks

Smoking some Wilke Peanut Butter and Chocolate in a IMP. Sipping hot chocolate to go along.
