Brief trip to Atlanta, safe and sound back home. Smoking Carter Hall in a mm hardwood, good to be home!
Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am smokingC&D Virginia Gentleman in a straight smooth dark brown pre-1940s Comoy’s Jost’s Olde English Supreme J299 billiard with a black tapered vulcanite stem.
HH burley flake in a Morgan bones pipe on this snowy day in Oregon.
@Winterreise ?looks like a Donegal cable pattern. A wool mill in my hometown made there for the UK company Barbour. A friend who’s mother worked there got a handful and at a tenner each they went like hot cakes. Can’t beat wool even keeps you warm when it’s wet ?

@Birddog66 I feel your pain mate, Border Force can pick up on a pound or two of baccy but can’t stop the hordes crossing the Channel ?

McC's Dark Star, among the best of Virginias, in a Savinelli Opera 673 bulldog, getting ready to wrap some Christmas gifts that may or may not get there on time. The family thinks in terms of a holiday season. Anything within a week of New Years is on time. We have our foot on base with gifts sent from online retailers.

Did a short set of walking reps, and smoked a bowl of Motzek (TAK) Virginia Cake in an undated straight black sandblasted Kevin Arthur brandy with a multi-colored accent on the white acrylic saddle stem. This pipe was originally owned by Sante “FishnBanjo” Giuliani. A cup of hot tea is my drink.
Now smoking Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a 2019 black rusticated Peterson 312 full bend billiard with a military mount and a nickel cap with a cumberland 4AB stem and a N.A.P. bit.

Lot of driving this morning/early afternoon, so a bowl of MacBaren HH Burley Flake and then after a stop at a B&M I'd never been to, a bowl of one of their house blends. It's a cube cut burley with some toppings. Reminded me a lot of the Watch City crumb cut burley blends. Hands down the driest tobacco I've ever seen in my life, but it smoked cool and dry. Kinda dug it. Bought 4 oz, so I better get smoking.
