The two points of interest about this pipe are, (1) The uncommon rounded bowl lip and, (2) The uncommon bone screw tenon for such a late pipe (1920s)

Close to finishing this bowl of Wilke Beta Test in an undated quarter bend Royal Meerschaum lattice apple meer with a black, gold and cream swirl amber colored acrylic tapered stem. Been cleaning pipes, and listening to idiots who believe in Nostradamus.
My pipes froze for a few hours on Sunday morning. No damage. Mile high Arizona makes my wife happy as she was MN born and bred, but it can get too cold for me on occasion. Smoke indoors!Currently finishing up a bowl of 6 yr old Sam Gawith St. James Flake in a Peterson Sherlock Holmes Deerstalker. It's really interesting to smoke this stuff relatively fresh and then with some age on it as well. It's really fantastic either way.
Winter has finally come to Southern AZ, and I'm sitting outside in 35 degree weather freezing my ass off in multiple layers. I used to smoke cigars when it was 0 F back when I lived in Minnesota. I'm a total wimp for the cold now!
Does Ash know about that Granger catalog?

Fantastic!Germain Eighteen Twenty in my own sort of brandy. Blasting job courtesy of Simeon Turner. A Rob Roy cocktail on the side. I subbed tawny port for the sweet vermouth and it really bumps it up a notch.
