I remember when they first came out, working at Tinder Box in Tallahassee. I knew then there was something I liked about them. Had less than no idea that 45 years later they'd still be one of my favorites.

Smoking some Old Joe Kranz in a Rossi 8673 staring out the window of my modest office watching the snow fall and wondering if we will get more than a foot in central, MA. Had some Haunted Bookshop in this pipe earlier, as well as some Bayou Night in a Rob Roy cob.
More Cosmic in another Falcon. I'm probably boring you with my limited taste in tobacco, but after 50 years of smoking pipes I think I've tried almost all types and have settled on my three,or so, favorites. For me ghosting is a non issue and my pipes are redolent of the flavors and aromas of my tobaccos. I feel sometimes that "going deeper" in a few blends reveals great rewards. Enjoy!

Indeed, one of the best Aromatics I have tried so far, tastes exactly as it smells. I don't own a meer yet, thus I enjoy Aromatics exclusively in my corn cob pipes. Be careful not to ghost your meer.

About a quarter of a bowl left of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a smooth straight late 1970s Charatan Special 4148DC Reg. No. 203573 pot with a black double comfort vulcanite stem. A pancake and hash browns lunch with Community Coffee, neat, is next.
