A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 1997 McClelland Christmas Cheer in a 1980 Stanwell 668 medium bend with a multi-colored ferrule, half black sandblasted, half brown smooth, rough top with a black vulcanite stem. Watching Perry Mason.

Now smoking year 2014 HU Directors Cut in a smooth straight Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad.

In common with many pipes that I've seen from this era there are no maker's mark on the wood and where there are marks these are to be found on the metal . . .
In this case - A.W (Arthur Wright - Gold & silversmith, Victoria Road, Stoke Newington, London N) with stamp for Birmingham 1902
