My wife got me a trinket box made like a treasure chest with an octopus bursting through. She had no idea that it would kick start an obsession to accessorize!
Starting the day with the Gold Rush/Perique blend I put away for a few weeks. I’ve not tried many VaPers but I’m enjoying this more than most I’ve smoked so far. I’m not claiming to be an expert blender, it’s all down to personal taste and I like to experiment. I’m storing the rest of it for another few weeks. Yesterday afternoon's 2011 Dunbar in a Tinderbox x Sasieni military mount dublin. Excellent lightweight pipe, roomy chamber. Made a fabulous Michter's old fashioned to enjoy it with. Not generally a big bourbon guy, but it sure tasted good last night.

Crappy weather yesterday. No good light to be found anywhere. Took a snooze after dinner and didn't post. Presbyterian in Peterson POTY 2019 999 the other smooth.
Another late present from my niece, Sam Gawith Fire Dance, in the mail today. Trying it in my bulldog Bantam on the Falcon and enjoying it immensely. Also got a little sample of Conniston Cut Plug aromatic which I’m really looking forward to trying later.
