I recently watched a duo of films on the Criterion Channel starring Edward G Robinson and I couldn’t help thinking of you. The first was Scarlet Street and the second was Woman in the Window. In the former Robinson is a painter who has never had luck selling his paintings and is taken in by couple of con artists. In the latter a painting is the mcguffin, setting things in motion. Both are fantastic films by Fritz Lang and really display Robinson’s talents. I can’t recommend then enough.Almost finished smoking Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Been enjoying a belated Christmas present: Edward G. Robinson's World Of Art by his wife, Jane Robinson. It has photos of some of the great paintings Robinson owned, plus some of his own paintings. For many years, Robinson had the greatest, most valuable private collection of fine art in the United States. He was a painter, too.
This is the Virginian? Did you take a picture of it? What did you think of it? I was lucky enough to get a couple.Another bowl of Mind Meld VA/Green River, this time in my Stanwell Brushed Black straight billiard. Got some 1992 PCCA Virginia queued up, second bowl of it today and my first taste of tobacco that's older than me.
