I've been switching on and off all evening between 221b Arcadia in a GBD Virgin square-shanked billiard with a saddle-bit, and HH Old Dark Fired in a Royal Falcon zulu, switching on and off between reading Shelby Foote's Narrative of the Civil War vol II, and listening to the recorded audio file of The Complete Sherlock Holmes. I'm not in heaven yet, but I'm close enough for now.

Just got very confused at myself, flipped the book over, and realized my mistake. It's The Civil War: A Narrative, still vol II, still written by the great, pipe-smoking Shelby Foote. Still smoking the Old Dark Fired because it burns forever.

Now smoking Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a late '80s, early 90s small bend medium brown smooth, unbranded Bjarne pot with a couple small rusticated spots, an amber colored acrylic ferrule and tapered stem in the military mount style.

Enjoyed a very tasty Nathan's Hot Dog and chips, and then a big Golden delicious apple. Now, I'm a quarter of the way through this bowl of MacBaren Burley London Blend in a smooth medium bend 2011 Rinaldo Collection Fiammata Silver Line 7 Odea 4 flame grain bulldog with a silver band and a tortoise shell acrylic stem. Watching Magnum Force.
