Still getting caught up after the Week from the Black Lagoon (or as my wife has called it, “the week that wasn’t”). I am amazed at how the participants in this thread continue to thrill me day in and day out with such a parade of good taste, it really is an inspiration.
I am remaining focused on being grateful this weekend. My family is the reason that I work hard, and they’re the ones who really facilitate that work through the support they provide to me. You can bet your bottom dollar that your pal Goblin would have been eating cut up hot dogs and white rice all week if not for that support, if indeed I got around to cutting up the hot dogs.
Currently packing up for a weekend hotel stay up there in Dallas, it will be a good long weekend.
Last night I had XXV Dusk in the Carroll of Carrollton, and then this morning XXV Dawn in my little Peterson Junior silver-mounted bulldog. What a life!
