Birthday was yesterday but wasn’t able to get to a pipe. I am finally getting some time now. Currently enjoying Campaign Dark Flake (2014) in a Peterson SH Baskerville.

Happy Birthday!
Wishing you a day filled with good cheer, good company, and (of course) a fine bowl of your favorite tobacco. May the year ahead bring you health, peace of mind, and many memorable smokes. Raise a pipe in celebration – today is yours!

Lit some GL Pease JackKnife Plug (2013) in a Winslow Crown Smooth Freehand (#4 on this new pipe). “I am Groot” = “Don’t bite!”. With a glass of sangria.

I’ve also been keeping an eye on Winslow pipes — they often surprise with shapes that go beyond tradition. For example, the Winslow Crown 200 Smooth Bent Pot really caught my attention: an elegant balance of classic pot proportions with their signature creative twist.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, swordfish and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I just finished smoking year 2025 STG/MacBaren Virginia Flake Cut iin a 1980s White Pipe straight, smooth octagonal paneled billiard meerschaum with an acrylic yellow cream colored saddle stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Been admiring this pipe for quite a while. I'm not really partial to either strongly figured meer, or colored stems, but together, these work, and the pipe is a beautiful piece indeed. After so many heart shaped emoticons, I think I have to admit, in spite of my little biases, this one gets the Kewpie Doll.

Love it, HPG!! It really works! :) :)👍👍

@infectedpsyche Nice pipe; the Clay King welcomes you to the Brotherhood of the Clay!
Looking forward to the clay pipe making workshop at Coalport China Museumu, Ironbridge:
I've fancied making a Clay:)
I like clay pipes, but I am replying because I am so so jealous that you get to go to ironbridge, what a beautiful part of the world.

Near the half way mark of this bowl of year 2025 STG/MacBaren Virginia Flake Cut in a 2003 URAL full bend big bowl egg shaped Lattice meer with a black acrylic saddle stem. Working on a review of it. I opened the back door to let Harry the Hairy inside a few minutes ago, and a dead baby rabbit was on the doormat. As Harry started to come in, he stared and sniffed at the rabbit. I assume he brought it to me because I know Daisy the Feral Princess didn't. She was inside at the time. I suppose Tomato the Brave could have done it, but I am skeptical of that.

Taking a review break with a bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a late '80s, early 90s small bend medium brown smooth, unbranded Nording pot with a couple of small rusticated spots, an amber colored acrylic ferrule and tapered stem in the military mount style. Sleepy Suzy is by my side. Molly Danger is in bed. The others ate and ran.

A nice evening/night in TX, cooled down a lot.

Enjoying this fantastic home blend with cigar leaf from a fellow member, in the Vermont Freehand Cherrywood Morta. (@dottlejockey )

Drink is hot tea 🍵 -- Russian Caravan, one of my faves.

@Phiredog I had forgotten about my Russian Caravan until you mentioned Lapsang Souchong earlier today. As I'm certain you know, Russian Caravan is typically about a 50/50 blend of Lapsang Souchong and another black tea like Assam, etc. I've even seen it with Oolong blended in. Anyway, thanks for the reminder, as it's been hiding in the back shelf for a while. :)
