My grandmother went to be with the Lord yesterday at 97 years old. She was an incredible woman that lived a long and amazing life 😊. As a result, I called out today to stay home and spend some time with the family. But before I jump into son/daddy duties I'm in the garage with my daughter's birthyear pipe, a Stanwell POTY 2023 loaded with C&D Haunted bookshop cake 👻 📚 🎂 with a plain black coffee.

Thank you to those that reached out and I hope you all have a great day!

Briar Fox in a small Stanwell Freehand. I have just been smoking this for a few days because of a slight gum infrection. I have been usually an antiseptic rinse 3x a day. Maybe tommorow I can get pack to my standards. I hardly have anything without Perique . 😀
Don't know if this would help, but try taking "L Lysine" every day. It is an amino acid (protein precursor) supplement. I assume you can get it there. I have a tendency to get mouth sores, ever since I was a kid. But since I found out about Lysine, I seldom get them anymore. And it helps with tongue bite too.

Many Thanks I'll look into it.

Firing up GL Pease JackKnife Plug (2013) again. Tobacco smells earthy, a little smoky, and has that ketchup essence (reminds me of some [McCellands] from a decade ago), plus dried fruit like raisins. Hope it goes a bit better than yesterday getting a bit tongue bite! And no I wasn't smoking too fast, bowl took well over an hour. Taste is similar to Mac Baren HH Old Dark Fired, but a bit..harsher? Both have been aged for 12+ years, for what it's worth. Continuing to break in my new Winslow Crown Smooth Freehand (smoke #3). Wish me luck!

Shoddy wifi at the hotel in Houston. Seems to work now during non-peak hours. Taking advantage of it while i can.

The night i left the Seattle area i stopped by a park with my 2 adult children on the way to the airport, picked up some Indian food for dinner and caught the sunset on the bay in Des Moines where i grew up.

The next morning, after breakfast at the hotel, i went out for a walk with a cigar and was greeted by a spectacular view across the street of the early morning sun near the NRG Stadium.

Now heading out to explore another part of Houston with one of the few meers i brought on the trip. A nice sized bowl of Sans in an Ali cherrywood. Will likely refill this bad boy a couple times with some other offerings during the drive. ;)
