That Castello is looking great!
Funny you mentioned The Opener as I just went over my Greener’s and Parker 12’s and a count of all my 2-3/4’s for that reason myself. We are absolutely loaded with Dove this year. Must be this dry weather and temperature drop?
Haha, I was about to check and lube my Browning A-5 and count all my high brass 2-3/4 but decided to smoke some GL Pease Cumberland instead. I really need to bust some clays tomorrow to knock the rust off. Glad to hear you’re covered up with Dove, hope you have a great time. IMG_5002.jpeg

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and have passed the half way mark of this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Hawaiian Kona Extra Fancy Dark Roast, neat, is my drink. Getting ready to clean a few pipes with Sleepy Suzy by my side. Harry the Hairy is snoozin' near my feet.

Back to my happy place with a bowl of McClelland's infamous red VA in a poker pipe my brother made me for Christmas years ago. He rusticated it like a cob, since i was using those a lot for tester pipes back then. Stamped Hoskinson Handmade. He does a great job with his open bores. Learned some things from of Kurt Huhn back then.

The pipe is a long shanked, sandblast James Upshall P grade. I bought it new for $165 from Chief Catoonah’s brick and mortar store in 1998. Despite the years, I still can’t decide whether it’s a bent billiard or brandy. The tobacco is the very last (perhaps in existence) of my Alan’s Inspiration, a Lat-heavy blend, also from the Chief.
