Oz, that black tea and coconut wafers combination sure sounds delicious. I could almost taste them as I looked at the photos......
These wafers are usually made for Chinese New Year. Often a family effort with grandma, mum and the aunts manning the waffle irons and us kids hanging by hoping for “cast offs”
These ones were a special - with a layer of peanut butter inside 😋

M'lady's cousin came to town to see us today. Haven't seen John in years. His wife has gotten into baseball, and getting him into it, too, but he knows very little about the sport. Our local minor league team was playing at home today, and as he's never seen a minor league game, he wanted to go. His idea was for me to explain the game to him which I was happy to do. We saw a good game, I explained a lot to him, and we were all happy to be together. But, I couldn't wait to get home and smoke. :) M'lady fed all the cats and I've passed the half way mark of this bowl of first production Seattle Pipe Club Hogshead in a well appreciated medium bend, smooth brown 1950s Peterson 999 Dublin chubby Rhodesian with a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Watching the Braves-Mets game that I recorded. They're scoreless in the second inning.

My adult daughters are just getting into baseball. They are Cubs fans and I’m a suffering Braves fan, at least this year. I’m really enjoying explaining all the ins and outs of the game. My boys are completely uninterested!

C&D Pegasus in a dedicated Savinelli 320 Punto Oro. We have family coming over from the Philippines, this will be their first time in the US. I am working on the menu right now, so far it’s chorizo, potato, and kale soup with pan con tomate and Manchego.
The big dinner will be steak, risotto with tomato, corn, basil, and Parmesan. Rapini on the side. IMG_4961.jpeg
