Still on vacation for a few more days. Smoked some gifted Esoterica Dorchester in the Radice this morning with some Mariage Frères tea that I picked up in Paris in the spring. The chipmunk is getting a bit greedy and crazy - climbed up on my wife this morning! Maybe I should be more careful! View attachment 410501
It looks a little like you're serving him breakfast!

M'lady's cousin came to town to see us today. Haven't seen John in years. His wife has gotten into baseball, and getting him into it, too, but he knows very little about the sport. Our local minor league team was playing at home today, and as he's never seen a minor league game, he wanted to go. His idea was for me to explain the game to him which I was happy to do. We saw a good game, I explained a lot to him, and we were all happy to be together. But, I couldn't wait to get home and smoke. :) M'lady fed all the cats and I've passed the half way mark of this bowl of first production Seattle Pipe Club Hogshead in a well appreciated medium bend, smooth brown 1950s Peterson 999 Dublin chubby Rhodesian with a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Watching the Braves-Mets game that I recorded. They're scoreless in the second inning.

Ugh, uber humid today in Texas and hit around 100, felt like 110. Point being, couldn't really sit out earlier. But, I've got the fan on the patio, and just grabbed a quick cigar and beer. Will probably head back inside shortly.

Anyway, more importantly a Brick House cigar and a Leffe Belgian Blonde Ale. 🍺
Cheers!

Am I reading that name right? Need to look into this blend…..
If you read it as "Fired Up and Set To Go" you'd be reading it right, but if you're like me -- the first time i saw that acronym i was thinking it was something snide about Scandanavian Tobacco Group and had to look it up.. ;)

Finally wrapping things up in the shop for the day. Was high time to retreat back into the smoking lounge for a nice, relaxing bowl of the new Navy Cask release in this HS Studio wasp.
