Now smoking year 2022 Watch City Blue Ridge Special in a straight smooth ebony post-WW2 LHS Sterncrest 91 bulldog with a sterling silver band, a diamond shank and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Watching the Giants-Nats game. Verlander isn't Verlander any more.

One of the Oldest players still going.
He’s from where I’m located and I’ve watched him play both through school years and professionally. He’s done well with it.
On a happier note did you catch the Cardinals Game Kid Fan/Umpire Footage? 😂 He’s something else.

One thing that I hate to see is when a big name player stays at it too long. Willie Mays is a prime example of that. I loved Hank Aaron and Bob Gibson, but they stayed in the game too long, too.

I agree with you 100% when it’s time to go, go with dignity.
Willie Mays was stationed in the Army where I spent some time
as well at Ft Eustis VA Of course that was before my time but it also helped seal the deal for me loving the guy. Now Hank Aaron is my brother’s Hero as he met him as a kid when he came to his school to talk back when he lived in College Park and that was also before my time. He say’s to this day he was a real gentleman, very cordial and was genuinely interested in others.

Had some Low Country Pee Dee in my Marxman billiard along with some sparkling water.

This little pipe really smokes so very well. One of things about it that I like is the vivid design in the briar on one side. Looks like the birth of the universe during the Big Bang.... or maybe a monkey raping a football. Not sure which. I dunno... what do you think?

I’m about half way through my tin of Pee Dee. It seems better every time I smoke it! It’s a keeper for me. Beautiful swirling grain on that Marxman! Reminds me of a vortex.

Great way to spend a Sunday morning.

Out in the Florida room. Smoking 2017 Meridian in a Dunhill pot. Reading P.G. Wodehouse.

Love Wodehouse, especially the Uncle Dynamite stories. Anyway, I found this quote which sums up Wodehouse well: “You should read Wodehouse when you're well and when you're poorly; when you're travelling, and when you're not; when you're feeling clever, and when you're feeling utterly dim. Wodehouse always lifts your spirits, no matter how high they happen to be already.”
