A couple days late, but tried some Pirate Kake during the home stretch of a 45 pound, 15k training ruck in preparation for a 20 mile charity fundraising event I plan on doing in October.

My Bones nosewarmer is my go-to for these activities, smokes well but can be thrown in a pack without worrying about messing up and expensive finish or snapping a long stem.

Beautiful pipe and shape. I like your suggestion of "squat brandy." It has a slight volcano vibe to it as well, though obviously a lot more rounded. Unique shape!
