Purple Cow has become a staple in my rotation since trying it at the end of Spring. I actually have a Moonshine Stublin dedicated to it but wanted to give it a go in a fresh cob. It was good for sure!

I only discovered it this year myself! Definitely an instant hit, I think I will follow your example and find a suitable cob to dedicate to Purple Cow. I only picked it up because, to be honest, I had been enjoying a couple of fine adult beverages while browsing SP and Purple Cow was the name of a diner that used to be open in Dallas a few years ago - only reason I pulled the trigger, and yet I have been rewarded again for my recklessness.

Three Star First Generation Pipe by Lee Apple with John Dengler's Black Maria. I probably will be putting this pipe up for sale - The picture here doesn't do it justice - it is a great smoking pipe but I have a very rare Pipe by Lee Ventilator coming in and I just don't collect Lee pipes for the most part. What makes this pipe special is that it has a larger bowl than most Lees.

Relaxing after a wonderful rack and a half of baby back ribs, baked potato, and mushrooms dinner with a third of a chocolate meringue pie for dessert. I just finished smoking Wilke Back Bay w/o perique in a smooth, medium brown early Radice full bend crossgrain/bird's eye 2 dot Clear with a black acrylic tapered stem. Haven't smoked this pipe in quite a while. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Daisy the Feral Princess wanted in, and after I dried her off, she ate some food. I think she wanted to lay by my feet, but Harry the Hairy is still there, so Daisy's on her blue blanket.

I broke out some of my old jars of Pease blends, and I'm smoking some Ashbury from 2010 in my trusty meer. Really great stuff! A balkan lite, very smooth and tasty with an oriental-forward flavor.

C&D Winchester in the Vauen 2024 Pipe of the Year. I love that this pipe is much lighter than it looks and is easy to clench. I think I have enough for about 4 more bowls after this one. Moving on to another sampler this weekend will be fun, but this has been a great blend to get to know.

Just finished smoking year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a late '80s, early 90s small bend medium brown smooth, unbranded Nording pot with a couple of small rusticated spots, an amber colored acrylic ferrule and tapered stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
