Part way through this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a late '80s, early 90s small bend medium brown smooth, unbranded Nording pot with a couple of small rusticated spots, an amber colored acrylic ferrule and tapered stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Harry the Hairy came in to eat, get attention, and wanted back out. Daisy the Feral Princess woke up long enough to eat, and is snoozin' again. Sleepy Suzy is by my side. Molly Danger is snoozin' in the bedroom with m'lady.

What does it mean to get "knucklebusted?"
It means he had some bloody knuckies from the oyster knife slipping while trying to pry them open the first few times. The blade slipped and he caught himself on the sharp edge of the oyster shell or barnacles clinging to the bunch. Either way, he shed some blood on the hunt, thereby blessing the endeavor. We had a hell of a dinner tonight with about a dozen crispy oysters apiece; dried, battered in egg wash and crushed salt/pepper pork rinds then fried in beef brisket tallow. Of course, this was served with fresh Yakima corn on the cob with butter, garlic salt and a touch of tajin. And we didn't forget the celebratory Champagne de Margerie.

Gorgeous blast on that strawberry wood and an excellent choice in baccy right there. I think i'll follow suit...

It was mostly a cigar day for me as i spent most of the day in Seattle (and travelling to and fro). But after a late dinner, i'm finally back in the lounge with a final pipe to cap off the night. Steamworks in a C-Pipe blasted egg.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and have passed the half way mark of this bowl of year 2000 SWRA in a straight smooth 2024 Peterson Red Killarney 264 Canadian with metal accents around the shank and a black acrylic p-lip stem. Reading baseball box scores with Sleepy Suzy by my side. Going to check on the ferals after I post this smoke.

Now smoking year 2018 Sutliff Walnut Match in a 1990s smooth brown medium bend briar calabash shaped Butz-Choquin Maitre Pipier JR Fait Main with a horn ferrule and a black vulcanite stem. Tomato the Brave and Harry the Hairy came in to eat, and didn't get along, which was Harry's fault for being aggressive. I put a stop to that and they both wanted out even though it's raining. Daisy the Feral Princess just went to the kitchen to eat.

Ok, I clearly get the "knuckle-busting" thing, now. I have a similar experience using my wrenches in the tight confines of a car/truck engine.....
The oyster feast sounds like a meal "fit for a king!" Delicious, I'm sure.
