Back at the ‘23 Cringle Flake in my newest, just-barely-broken-in MM Legend. Just finished prepping breakfast for the week in the form of two quiches, got the salmon marinating for tonight, and I’m looking forward to a glass of mediocre white wine with dinner. I am also looking forward to returning to work tomorrow after our vacation. Looks like some field work is on the agenda this week, so I will be taking my smoke on the road.

Now smoking year 2012 Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight, dark brown 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Just fed Sleepy Suzy and Molly Danger. Earlier, this afternoon, I was looking over the fence in my back yard. Harry, Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave were following me around. When I was looking over the fence, Harry decided to jump up next to me. His body hit my right arm, taking me by surprise. Harry looked at me, jumped over the fence, and was looking around back there when I went back to the house. As I stepped on the deck, Harry came running to me. I let him in, and he's been snoozin' by my feet since then. He's a nosy little fella.
