Some soothing Nutty Irishman in my Pete emerald rusticated 106 after a hectic morning running errands, and a dull afternoon of necessary chores. I am always so interested to see the cool pipes and tobaccos you guys have going on, keep it up! Like y’all need me to tell you that, haha. Anyway, I’m about to crack the tequila. Look out!

Getting ready to watch UFC 319, Dricus du Plessis vs. Khamzat Chimaev (Middleweight Championship), taking place at the United Center, in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Having Cornell & Diehl Small Batch Folklore (2022, 805/1000) in an unbranded, unmarked, Magnum-sized Swan Neck LC (Large Curve) with a horn stem with an orific bit; this pipe is most likely French in origin, and may be from the late 19th or early 20th Century—it is curve/step drilled, has a bone tenon, and a cork mortise.

Earlier, I smoked a bowl of year 2019 Ascanian No. 1 in a straight smooth dark brown 1930s (Comoy’s) The Exmoor Pipe 283 chubby Rhodesian with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

I followed that up with a bowl of year 2019 C&D Derringer in a straight smooth brown 1920s (Comoy’s) Lions Head 399 Canadian with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

Currently, I'm finishing this bowl of year 2020 C&D Virginia Flake in an undated (1970s?) unbranded straight paneled sandblasted Tanshell Dunhill second with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Paid twenty bucks for this pipe in 1981. Smokes as well as a “proper” Dunhill. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Now smoking the last of my open stash of 2017 Watch City Deluxe Crumb Cut in a smooth brown three quarter bend 1979 Ben Wade Golden Matt freehand sitter with a channel cut on the right side, plateau rim, and a brown pearl acrylic stem. This may get me to dinner time. I'll revisit this blend someday as I have lots of it jarred. Haven't smoked this pipe in quite a while, but it got heavy usage for years. The Braves-Guardians game starts after the top of the hour.
