Now smoking year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a 1979 black sandblasted medium bend Savinelli Non Pareil 9606 Billiard with a military mount horn ferrule and black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Tomato the Brave came in to eat when Harry the Hairy went out. Tomato didn't eat as much as usual, and wanted back out as soon as he finished. Daisy the Feral Princess spends much of her time on the deck chair.

Did a little low calorie snacking, and near the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2012 Butera Pelican in a 1970s slight bend black sandblasted English Rustic 120S Billiard (Comoy’s second) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. This pipe originally belonged to my college art mentor, the late professor Walter Barker. Watching the Orioles-Mariners game with Sleepy Suzy by my side.

Enjoyed a third bowl of Sun Bear Black Locust 2024 and a bowl of Pegasus out of the Tekin meerschaum I posted earlier.

Now I will light up some Five Brothers in a Vauen Boston I bought to commemorate the birth of my daughter last year. It’s an estate pipe that predates the invention of the Dr. Perl 9mm activated charcoal filter. I think this one was designed for one of their paper 4mm filters.

Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2020 H&H Chatham Manor in a straight black sandblasted, smooth dark brown top bowl 2021 Jim Brown stack Rhodesian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Sleepy Suzy woke up, meowed loudly, jumped from my chair to the floor, turned around and stared, and meowed again. More than any other cat, she let's me know when she's hungry. And she's not very patient about waiting. But, she always comes back to me and shows appreciation and a bit of love.

Enjoyed a tasty red delicious apple, and have about a third of a bowl left of year 2000 SWRA in a straight black sandblast undated Savinelli Hercules 115EX pot with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Reading baseball box scores. I brought the ferals inside out of the thunderstorms, and they're all snoozin'. I may end the day with this smoke.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2021 Watch City Queequeg’s Moby Dick Series in a slight bend smooth brown post WWII 1940s Sasieni Ivory 101 Westminster diplomat with a black vulcanite saddle stem. I'll end the day with this smoke. Been throwing catnip balls at Harry the Hairy. He's vicious in how he attacks them. He catches some in mid-air, too. Wish I could get a photo of that. Harry also enjoys sticking his head under a throw rug. Dunno what that's about. The rain stopped, Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave ate again, and then wanted out.

Luciano Pease/Di Piazza Design — Virgin Sandblast Chubby Dublin. A collaborative shape by Greg Pease and Luca di Piazza, based on Pease’s own sketches — a compact chubby with honest balance, firmly in the nosewarmer territory.
And really, it only makes sense to load it with the man’s own blend — G. L. Pease Navigator. No introduction needed here: Virginias + dark-fired Kentucky, pressed and aged with a touch of rum — a classic Old London setup.IMG_5217.jpeg

From Scandinavian Tobacco Co. Denmark, Five Brothers burley in my Grabow smooth, forward canted, group 3 sized, straight tapered, smooth finished, propeller logo'ed, Tru-Grain.
I've had to rescue this pipe from the estate pile on ebay, and with epoxy to restore the shank after I dropped it on the street. Still a favorite. the stinger, unfortunately, (I like the Chicago Grabow paddle stingers) had been removed, but it does make it easier to maintain, slightly.WIN_20250814_07_41_33_Pro.jpg
