Almost a third of the way through this bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Just fed Sleepy Suzy and Molly Danger. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

I rarely smoke larger than group 2 pipes, but when I do it’s one of my father’s.
This time it’s Match Victorian in his Royal Danish 988.
Hard to believe he never burned it out, as I remember this pipe in his mouth almost every summer evening “cocktail cruising” around Little St Germaine on our pontoon boat.
Grateful he’s still above ground at 94.

Great choice @AreBee ! It is a study of American history as well. He’s a pipe smoker and very complex individual.
Yes he was. Being a Connecticut resident, Twain history is mandatory. I also watched the first of two episodes of the Ken Burns documentary on him. Excellent so far. Not sure if you saw my post about touring his home a few months ago. I posted a handful of pipe related pics from the museum at the home.
