Living dangerously! ?
This is my last 2016 tin. They were replacements for the infamous moldy CRF tins. All the Bijou tins were dated May, 2016; IIRC the mold outbreak was concentrated in June production. In any event, all of the Bijou tins were thankfully just fine. This last tin was bulging, so I was a little concerned, but upon opening the tin note was akin to fermented fruit and not a bag of old potatoes accidentally left in a damp basement. Also, there was no “is that plume or mold?” decision to be made, just beautiful dark flakes.

My brutal work work has mercifully come to an end. It’s been too hot, and I’ve been too tired, to venture out for a smoke. It’s a pleasant 78 degrees now, and we’ll get a break from the heat and humidity this weekend, so I’m looking forward to getting back into my usual routine. I’m starting my evening off with Cabbie’s Mixture in a MM Emerald and a pour of Heaven Hill 7 yr.

Cheers!

About a third of a bowl left of KBV Acadian Flek beta test in a 1980,1983 hall marked medium bend black sandblasted silver band Peterson Donegal 80S Bulldog with a black vulcanite p-lip saddle stem. This is the second Peterson that I bought. Working on beta notes for this blend, review notes for the last blend I smoked, and doing some pipe cleaning.
