Now smoking Watch City Beta Test Blend #3 in a 1987 medium brown Peterson first series Sherlock Holmes full bend with a silver band and a black vulcanite tapered p-lip stem. Haven't smoked this pipe in a while. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

*LONDON MADE / AP into a diamond outline (**unidentified) stamped on the mount with marks for London 1915

*Country of origin stamp first used on tobacco pipes from circa 1910

**Possibly a later stamp for Adolph Posener

... but on the other hand possibly not as I've read the stamp switched to AP & Co. into a rectangle from circa 1910

Seven year old Sutliff Red Virginia Ribbon in a Don Warren hardwood bent billiard made of Hawaiian Kiawe wood.

This is my first smoke in it. I’m getting some sweet mesquite smokiness from the wood in the pipe. It’s also got some heft to it, the wood is quite dense.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of Wilke Peanut Butter and Chocolate in a light brown 1979 rusticated medium bend Italian Sir Jeffrey Dublin (GBD second) sitter with a flared top and yellow saddle stem. Taking a break from cleaning estate pipes. Going to clean a few pipes I smoked earlier now.

@virkia I've smoked a few packets of Clan in my clay pipes. One of the Scottish Highlanders at the Bonnie Prince Charlie re-enactment was smoking Clan in his clay pipe; I thought it suited his character despite the modern packet. This was before the health warnings being plastered all over them!
More recently, a fellow Redcoat was smoking Clan and he let me have a pipeful to smoke in my clay.
I've found out that the clay pipe smoking competition I'm thinking of taking part in uses Clan so I'll need to buy a packet to practice with next year!
I can imagine Cavaliers or Redcoats smoking Clan at re-enactment events...

I'm smoking Sun Bear Black Locust for the first time, I won it from Tobacco Pipes Twitter contest. Pipe is a Rossi Vittoria 6815 Lumberman. This stuff is good...I don't think I've smoked anything that was a Va/Oriental Turkish before without Lat or other complements. What is similar to this, if anything?View attachment 94479
PRESBYTERIAN is well worth trying if you haven't already done so as is Robert McConnell's ORIENTAL.

Just lighting up some 32 yr old Mac Baren Dark Twist Roll Cake in a James Barber Chevin ** Made By Hand In England by Les Wood with 925 silver band. Now I don't know for a fact that it's 32 yrs old, but a friend gave it to me in April of 2004 and said it was 15 yrs old. It looked and smelled well aged at that time. I have no excuses for not smoking it sooner but I can say that it smells great today and the bail-top opened with a loud sucking pop. Stuffed coins and then topped the bowl with some loose strands. Cheers!

Trying DTM Salty Dogs for the first time ever. I ain’t gonna lie, I felt a little played when I opened up the package to see I payed $17.20 for a Jenga block, but it’s settling into a nice smoke. Not sure if it’s good enough to justify the price in my opinion, but it is a mellow flavorful smoke so far. Pipe is a new MM General. I think these are about the perfect size cobs for me. On an aside, I think I just saw Air Force One fly past me headed to Barksdale AFB. ?
