Short, mid-afternoon bowl of C&D Autumn Evening in a MM Cob. The eye of Hurricane Ida is approaching St. James Parish as I write so, with a prayer for deliverance (God must smoke a pipe - no cigarette ashtray or spittoon to be seen anywhere on the Sistine Chapel ceiling, etc.), am firing up a bowl of C&D Bayou Morning in an Upshall sandblast Bulldog with smooth rim and saddle stem.

Now smoking Pfeifen Huber Virginia Golden Flake in a straight smooth brown post-WWII Comoy’s Grand Slam billiard 27 Canadian patent 341422 with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Zooming with friends.

Finished my packet of Gawith Hoggarth North Star ? in a clay pipe.
Started on the Larsen's Craftsman's Edition; smoked the first bowl in the briar churchwarden pipe I got from @simong (a churchwarden in the churchyard!) followed by another bowl in a clay pipe.
Re-used the North Star ? packet and the commemorative Craftsman's Edition tin for clay pipe storage; definitely doing my bit for the environment!
Going to get another bowl down my throat before supper!
