Enjoyed a very late, but tasty lunch, and am now smoking J.F. Germain’s Royal Jersey Cavendish & Virginia in an old, undated brown full bend straight grain London Castle egg with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Putting the finishing touches on this review.

It’s been a 3 pipe day for me, which is extremely rare. I almost feel that the first two don’t count because I was out doing yard work and smoked my cob. Both bowls went by in a blink. Watch City Slices followed by Deluxe Crumb cut. Now I’m able to relax with a bowl, which is more my speed. First smoke of Ken Byron Ventures Moriarty in a Tsuge bamboo shanked Dublin. So far this is a really interesting and tasty blend, one which I would purchase more of. A Negroni is the soothing beverage. D2ACF230-6A14-47BA-8DE3-DF233CCC23F1.jpeg

Esoterica Woodbridge (still smoking my sample that @alaskanpiper sent me) out of my Peterson Deluxe System 20s with custom George Dibos stem. I think I like Woodbridge better than Tilbury! By a lot!

That pipe definitely suits you! I think I’ve got some Woodbridge in jars that I should pull out. Been a while! Thanks for the reminder!

Tabac-Manil Semois medium cut, the Belgium burley variant, in a La Rocca slightly bent rusticated poker. This is carved as much as rusticated, interlocking loops. I saw it at my local independent pipe shop, and I thought it was just too folksy. But I kept thinking about it for two weeks. I finally decided, I'd go back, and if it was there I'd buy it. It was, and I did. It's a nice sitter and a good pipe for this dry burley, pretty wide bowl, and plenty deep.

It is a line from a goofy 80s flick called Gotcha, starring a young Anthony Edwards. Post Revenge of the Nerds, but pre Top Gun.

ha, I must have missed that one.

I have a friend that claims to have been an extra in a crowd scene in Revenge of the Nerds. I look every time I watch it but can't pick him out.
