On this auspicious day, many years ago, I was born. And I have been enjoying pipes for over half of those years of life. Enjoying some HU Makhuwa now in a Comoy 'Selected Straight Grain.' I have burnt through a fair amount of this Makhuwa and now I can see the bottom of the tin.

2014 McClelland Christmas Cheer in a Savinelli zulu. Pairing well with a weekend-starts-now glass of bourbon
Bengal Slices in Peterson SH Deerstalker. Full of flavor. Latakia is definitely major player, but didn't really mind. Very slow burning. Stopped at 2hr mark, and still had tobacco left for another 15-20min. Very satisfying smoke.
Watch City Flake 558 in a Dunhill Redbark 515. Nomenclature is a bit week but I believe group 4. Will have to examine it more closely. This a a great crumble flake, naturally sweet and full. Just ordered a lb of it. 
Got started with Watch City "Simply Red" and now C&D's "Derringer" in a Ken Dederich's freehand sandblast. Tomato shape maybe? Water for unleaded pour over coffee warming up.

Got the last of my walking reps in, and am close to finishing this bowl of D&R Three Sails in a smooth straight late 1970s Charatan Special 4148DC Reg. No. 203573 pot with a black double comfort vulcanite stem. Ice water, bergs and plenty of it is my drink.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of Sutliff Prince Andrew in a 2020 smooth light brown, slight bent J. Everett straight grain chubby author with a spalted birch ferrule and a black saddle vulcanite stem in the military mount style. Love this pipe!
