Not smoking a damn thing. Burying a little brother tomorrow. Not trying to be morbid but you never know when it will end. Happy smokes my friends. Dont take it for granted.
Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.

Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message He Is Dead,
Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.

He was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last forever: I was wrong.

The stars are not wanted now: put out every one;
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood;
For nothing now can ever come to any good.

Enjoyed a tasty Snap Dragon apple, and am near the half way mark of this bowl of KBV Jupiter Slices 7.1 in a post-1938 Pre-Republic Peterson Dublin straight smooth X155 bulldog with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Nigel Bruce smoked this model in two Sherlock Holmes movies. Please consider asking Shane Ireland at Smoking Pipes and Peterson to bring the pipe back into production.

Passing the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Abner the Eager has been in three different places since my last post. He's been on top of my chair for the last thirty-forty minutes. Sleepy Suzy is by my side. Molly Danger is on m'lady's lap. The other ferals are outside.

Sorry to hear this, my friend. My heart goes out.
Life is certainly short. Wisdom's in trying to not take any of it for granted.

Moving on to a bowl of Penny Farthing in an IMP. Will use this time to reflect...
