Passing the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2021 Watch City Simply VOriental in a straight smooth medium brown 1930s Wilshire 5 bulldog (Comoy’s second) made for John’s Pipe Shop in Los Angeles with a black vulcanite saddle stem. I appreciate this pipe for its sturdy and clenchable qualities. Great smoker, too. I wanted a very suitable pipe for this blend since I co-created it, and this is the one. Abner the Eager's still snoozin' on the couch. I'm going to see if Tomato the Brave and Daisy the Feral Princess are ready for their wet food time as soon as I post this smoke.

Peterson Nightcap from July 2021 in a Balandis sandblasted billiard

A third of the way through this bowl of Wilke Back Bay w/o perique in a straight black sandblasted 1924 Parker’s Super Briar Bark 11 billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. This pipe was made in the second year of Parker production. Both Tomato the Brave and Harry the Hairy ate and went back out. Daisy the Feral Princess and Sleepy Suzy wanted more food, and just finished eating again. Abner the Eager is still snoozin'. Hopefully, I will as well once this smoke is done.

On the menu for my morning smoke was a bowl of C&D Bayou Morning, one of the first blends I really fell in love with when I started smoking a pipe. In keeping with the theme of old time favorites, I decided on pairing my smoke with a cappuccino with breve.

Unfortunately, we were out of cream so I opted for the almond milk in the back of the fridge, which smelled fine, but whose origins remain unknown, and hoped for the best. After heating up the milk, my attempts of producing usable foam proved futile, no matter, a flat white would still service me just fine for my morning smoke, or so I thought.. To quote the great fast food critic ReviewBrah..



Morning smoke 9/10. Morning coffee 2/10, as in I took 2 sips and tossed it



To aid in my contemplation of poor judgement, I called on the assistance of C&D Epiphany loaded in my Bent Hunter Falcon equipped with a meer bowl and now cautiously paired with an espresso and drip coffee.



I am happy to report that order and sensibility has been restored, although, my judgment still remains in question.
