Earlier, I smoked a bowl of year 2010 Mac Baren Burley London Blend in a smooth medium bend 2011 Rinaldo Collection Fiammata Silver Line 7 Odea 04 flame grain bulldog with a silver band and a tortoise shell acrylic saddle stem.
Just finishing year 2016 Peter Heinrichs Special Curly in a straight smooth brown 1950s The Saint James London Pipe (Comoy’s second) 185M billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Been chatting with my niece.

Almost half way through this bowl of year 2023 John Aylesbury Scottish Blend in a 2002 black pebble finish straight Cavicchi C. Fatto A Mano lovat with a black acrylic saddle stem.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple and have a third of a bowl left of year 2021 Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Evening Flake in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson Ebony POTY 4AB No. 422/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Fed all the ferals with Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave being the first since they were on the doormat. After they ate, they wanted out, and I brought Abner the Eager in to eat. I fed him in the bathroom to keep him away from Harry the Hairy and Molly Danger. Since Harry scares Molly, I put him out after he ate, which I hated to do, but there was no other choice. Then, I took Abner and his food to kitchen where he feels more comfortable eating. Molly was watching all of this, but didn't start anything. Abner's on top of my chair now.

Seeing as today is my Friday I decided to slip into the garage for a nightcap and enjoy a bowl of Sutliff Match Victorian loaded in my Peterson Short Billiard.
I've passed the quarter mark of this bowl of first production Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture in a smooth medium bend terracotta Peterson POY 2023 X160 464/1100 military mount egg with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Abner the Eager is still on top of my chair. Guess he feels it's safe there from Molly Danger. Sleepy Suzy with on m'lady's chair.

Bird report: White-crowned sparrow, House finch, California scrub-jay, Steller's jay, California towhee, California quail, American crow, Red-tailed hawk (spectacularly chased away by the crows), Oak titmouse, Northern flicker, Mountain chickadee, White-breasted nuthatch, Hairy woodpecker, Blue-grey gnatcatcher, Western bluebird, and Spotted towhee.
Was going to squeeze in a 3rd bowl, but dinner ran late. Will pick up where I left off tomorrow, especially with a late-season snowstorm coming through. Be well everyone!

Just finishing this bowl of year 2020 C&D Virginia Flake in a straight medium brown 1922-1937 Irish Free State era Peterson 222 bullcap with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Read baseball box scores, and fed the ferals except for Abner the Eager, who is still on top of my chair.
Now smoking year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Abner the Eager just hopped down to eat. Since the other ferals are outside, and only Sleepy Suzy is in the den, I'm hoping the li'l fella sticks around a while longer. He did go to the couch, and is having a snooze, so maybe he will.

Ive been passing over the jar of Wallace Flake in my closet for a while. Im glad I pulled it out today. I like my coffee with cream and sugar. It really doesnt compliment a lot of tobaccos. This one might just be the right match. Its in a Kai Volcano.
