A gorgeous day invites me out to soak up some sun. I’m listening to the wind chime and watching large flocks of Robins come and go as they feast on juniper berries and then move to the Mountain Ash tree berries.
Savinelli #122 Oscar Pot with Country Squires Whatever ???? Blend. I bought this a few years ago and forgot about it.
a glass of ice water.
Whatever’s in it- it’s rather tasty.

Almost half way through this bowl of year 2014 Full Virginia Flake in a slight bend 1968 group 4S Dunhill Shell 475 cherrywood with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Enjoyed another slice of chocolate meringue pie beforehand. Tomato the Brave wanted to eat early, so I let him in the eat. Afterward, he grabbed my foot and bunny kicked me, jumped on my lap for a head scratch and then wanted out. Even though he was neutered years ago, he's extra hyper this time of year.

You'll have to educate me here, Paul. That bowl looks like it hasn't been smoked much. And that's a pipe that I'm thinking should smoke really well. Am I missing something?
It’s a photo of it new before it’s first smoke. They smoke really well. It's 9mm so it can do Balsa, Charcoal or Adapter for nothing. They draft well and I seldom use a filter but it is nice to mute some things with one occasionally.

Skippable Drivel First today: I'd normally not post this until tonight, but tonight I'll not be at the computer. I'll be cleaning up after Ricoh's departure, and setting up a full 10 yard airpistol target range in my livingroom to kitchen corridor. Reason? I have to cut my "normal" 2-3x a week range duties down to only 1, because of the hernia constraints - I simply need to slow down, if that is possible. Will show a picture of my indoor setup when I clean up the surrounding chaos and squalor. 'Nuff said.

On to pipe smoking. In order to "get this" you'll need to know that I don't eat in the morning, never have, and just a cup or three of cold coffee. I now avoid smoking a pipe at all costs for at least 2 hours after I eat. Just kills my tastebuds and I don't enjoy it, and I've made many misjudgements on tobacco when I had done so.

So had to change how I did things. So, I have a morning pipe and usually a late evening one, cigars in between.

Had a brainstorm (fart?) this morning, and did it work! Along with my morning leftover coffees, I decided to try a small bowlful of the most over-the-top aromatic known to me, Captain Black Cherry Cavendish. Put it in my McQueen Miniature Barrel Rider.

Like, WOW! Totally took the place of a glass of orange juice (which I don't drink anyways), and the Captain's unruly cherry blast served as a most tasty breakfast. I think I'm onto something here!! T'will affect my entire overscheduled thinking, t'will, t'will!!

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:cray The best laid plans of Mice and Men, eh? No more drivel for today, methinks.

Near the last quarter of this bowl of GLP Ellipsis Flake (Zeitgeist Collection) in a 1980s White Pipe straight, smooth octagonal paneled billiard meerschaum with an acrylic yellow cream colored saddle stem. I think I've finally figured out what I was looking for, review wise. Watching the Orioles-Nats game.
