Now smoking D&R Penhooker in a medium bend 2000 thin stem sandblasted black silver spigot Ardor Urano Sherlock Holmes #68/100 D.R. briar calabash with a smooth flared top and a black acrylic stem. Sleepy Suzy has been by my side all evening. Molly Danger has been with m'lady. The ferals are outside.

This one is nice to look at.
Enjoyed a nice Shabbat rest, eked out a last-second Scrabble victory vs. wifey (those blank tiles are a life-saver!), and took advantage of a quiet evening out in the workspace with a bowl of H&H Black House in a Savinelli Bacco 321 rusticated author. The room note combined with wifey's cigarillo in a most interesting way, and a little white wine complimented a real pleasant tasting English blend. 9/10
Bird report: White-crowned sparrow, California towhee, California quail, House finch, California scrub-jay, Steller's jay, American crow, Red-tailed hawk, Western bluebird, Mountain chickadee, Oak titmouse, Northern flicker, Hairy woodpecker, Blue-grey gnatcatcher, and Spotted towhee.
Making some minestrone soup on this cold night, as I reflect on feeling old in learning that today marks 30 years since the OKC bombing, which seems like not that long ago. Ah, the passing time...

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am near the last third of this bowl of year 2020 H&H Chatham Manor in a straight black sandblasted, smooth dark brown top bowl 2021 Jim Brown stack Rhodesian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Fed the ferals and our cats. After Sleepy Suzy ate, she came back to be by my side. Molly Danger went back to m'lady.
