Day late for these smokes but I drove to Pittsburgh for a gig. On the way down I smoked some Bayou Morning in a Peterson Bent Rusticated and the wider bowl muted some of the virginia flavors but it lasted me all the way to the state line which was nice.
Then I smoked some C&D Oriental Silk in my little Ropp Squashed Tomato. Wow! What a blend! The first light had a bit of a cigarettey note to it but if you maintained the temperature you got a lovely sour note from the orientals within. Definitely a winner and it'll be fun seeing how continued smoking of that one helps my general technique cause that sour flavor goes away real quick if you puff to fast.
