With a Texan Pipeist in town for work, smoking through the whole of the Pipe Force series as a last hurrah before his return home from the Old Line State.
It's been a productive day, some cleaning, catching up with friends, running errands and putting air in my tires in the garage before picking up my son from school. He turns 10 tomorrow, can't believe he's hitting double digits!

Now smoking year 2020 D&R VIP in a 2004 smooth long shank Trever Talbot Ligne Bretagne Faite en Bretagne 4/3 lumberman with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Fed all the cats. Abner the Eager wanted out because he's afraid of Harry the Hairy. Tomato the Brave wanted out for the same reason (maybe), and because it stopped raining. I have one estate pipe clean now, and three others are drying. I think I got most of the previous smoking out, but If not, I'll do some bowl scrubbing later.
Yes it is! I only buy meerschaum pipes with particularly interesting block quality, for my pipe smoking habits can be rather sporadic and I don’t want to have to wait until I’m 300 to have any color show up. Oh, and 47 grams, however, due to the way it hangs from the mouth to me it is as light as anything. I hope it’ll color up as well as your Tekin in time, which may be one of the most beautifully colored pipes ever shown on this forum IMO.
