Passing the half way mark of this bowl of year 2013 Capstan Gold Flake in a straight smooth brown Algerian briar post-WW2-mid 50s family era Barling’s Make Ye Olde Wood Special Made in England squat dublin with a tapered black ebonite stem. This pipe is from the estate of David Cuneo. Sleepy Suzy is by my side. Molly Danger is with m'lady. Harry the Hairy is snoozin' on the couch. Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave came to eat and leave.

The day turned busy unexpectedly, but I carved out some time for Pegasus in a Falcon, and then some Kendal #7 shag in a Falcon Bantam (1970s stem, newer bowl).



A few weeks ago the Pegasus seemed ashy and burnt to me; today it really hit the spot. The Kendal #7 is consistently delicious.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am smoking year 2021 Watch City Glass Slipper Micro-Batch in a post-2000 straight brown sandblasted Tom Eltang cherrywood with a black acrylic saddle stem.

Now smoking first production Seattle Pipe Club Hogshead in a well appreciated medium bend, smooth brown 1950s Peterson 999 Dublin chubby Rhodesian with a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave came in to eat again, and leave at the same time again. They get along much of the time because their former "owners" got them when they were young. Daisy's about two years older than Tomato. He was born in 2015, and was adopted in 2016 by those "people". We kept them together since they weren't wanted by the so-called "man" of the house.

Back home after a long day of moving my daughter out of an apartment and into a duplex, and relaxing with some aged Blackpoint in an Ascorti Business KS bulldog. One of Dad’s old pipes.

I spent some quality time with my Saturday afternoon ZOOM buddies while I smoked my Peterson's Sherlock Holmes Original (1988) filled with Samovar.
My drink was the usual Peach/Mango Green Tea in a tall tumbler filled with bergs and a splash of Honey Jack Daniel's.

Sorry Brother, American pipe bands are not hallmarked. 1943 is a perfectly believable date though.

Back to smoking more again. I cut back to two bowls a day all week. My taster is back to normal.

Earlier I smoked some CH and 5 Bros in my 03 Grabow Free Hand sandblast. What a pipe. I wish Grabow hadve done more blasts.

I also fired up my Kaywoodie Flame Grain 13 earlier.
