Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am smoking year 2017 E-soterica Dorchester in a straight smooth dark brown octagonal paneled mid-60s-early 70s Corporate Era Barling 4945 London England T.V.F. billiard with a square shank and black tapered square stem. This pipe is from the estate of David Cuneo. Going to ream a few of David's estate pipes now.

Gord - reading about your dilemma re: big pipes VS smaller pipes, I have a thought which MAY or MAY NOT be an answer. Sure, you can load a big pipe just partially. But you can also load a big pipe full, smoke as much as you care to, then set it aside. This from someone who really likes DGT. And DGT is something I purposely plan for, sometimes loading 2 or even 3 pipes at the same time just so I can set some aside after partially smoking. For me, DGT ... the next day ... maybe 3 days later ... maybe a week later ... is always a treat.

Just finished smoking year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight 1960s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Fed my cats, and three ferals. Abner the Eager was here three hours ago, but I didn't know that, so I didn't have a chance to feed him. Dunno where he is now.
